9 schools survived the rain, wind and sunshine at our Y5/6 Girls Development Competition at Old Ruts Cricket Club.
A round robin was used to allow schools to play as many matches and possible. It was great to see the girls developing their skills as the day went on, as well as their tactical knowledge and understanding of the game.
Leaders from Year 9 at Rutlish were our officials for the day , so a big thank you must go to them. Congratulations to all the teams who attended for creating a competitive, but fun and respectful atmosphere.
Placings (4th -9th in no particular order) – Aragon, All Saints, Malmesbury Meerkats, Malmesbury Magpies, Liberty, Poplar
3rd – Hillcross

Well done to Aragon Primary who were voted our REFSPECT winners. Voted for by the other teams and the Rutlish leaders too.
