Active Lives Survey
Sport England’s Active Lives Children & Young People Survey aims to measure how active children aged 5–16 are, and to understand their attitudes, behaviours and opportunities related to physical activity both in and out of school.
Its purpose is to give schools, government and sport organisations reliable national data so they can improve PE, school sport and physical activity provision, and ensure all young people have the chance to be active every day.
Merton schools have been encouraged to complete the survey for the last 3 academic years
