Huge thanks go to Wimbledon Park Primary and their fabulous Year 6 Sports Leaders for a great festival today.
Over 80 children from local primary schools – Garfield, Wimbledon Park, Holy Trinity, Bishop Gilpin, SS Peter and Paul, The Priory and St Mary’s, took part in the festival. The morning began with a range of fun skill based games delivered by the sports leaders, followed by some exciting matches between teams as they put their new skills into practise.
There were lots of smiling faces and great REFSPECT shown throughout the morning, with Garfield scooping the award for their positivity, team spirit, respect and kindness to others.
Thanks also to all the teachers and staff that brought their school teams along.
