The first West Wimbledon Cluster event of 2022-23 took place on Monday 26th September at Raynes Park High School.
The Year 3/4 Dodgeball festival was a great way to kick off the sporting year in the Cluster, as it allowed the children to come and practice their Dodgeball skills in a fun and relaxed setting, while also getting to test themselves against children from other schools.
We welcomed 4 schools from the cluster; Dundonald, Hollymount, Sacred Heart and West Wimbledon, to take part in a round robin format where each school played each other twice. We were delighted to see some great play from all 4 schools who had a great afternoon.
The skill on the court was matched by the sportsmanship and fair play during the festival too. Amazingly, all four schools received one vote each and were the joint winners of the REFSPECT award! Really well done to all the children who took part on the day.
We would also like to say a big thank you to Raynes Park High School for providing us with Year 12 leaders to help on the day and also for the use of their facilities (especially for allowing us to move inside into their sports hall and escape the rain..)
