10 schools took on the challenge of MSSP’s final event of the academic year – the KS2 Teambuilding Festival. Hosted at Harris Academy Morden and with the help of their Year 10 sports leadership team, the format consisted of 11 activities designed to challenge both the physical and the mind.
The tricky stations were made up of the following games, all of which can be made available to teachers through our Merton SSP Schemes Of Work:
Pipeline, Towers Of Hanoi, Tic Tac Toe relay, Maze-runner, Cross the River, Lego Towers, Minefield, Blindfold Trust, Puzzle Quest, Toxic Waste and NSEW (Compass challenge).
Well done and thank you to each of the schools and individuals for taking part in our final event of the year:
Sacred Heart, Hatfeild, Aragon, St Teresa, SS Peter Paul, St Thomas, Liberty, The Priory, Morden and Links.
Thank you to Mr. Stewart in the HAMD PE department for facilitating the help of 20 sports leaders, each of whom conducted themselves with great energy and focus, helping and supporting the children at each station they managed.
Many thanks to all who have attended and supported our 74 events this academic year and we look forward to many more next time.
