East Merton Swimming Gala 24-25

The Merton Primary swimming gala took place on Monday 24^th  of March 2025 at Morden Leisure Centre.

10 Primary schools across the borough competed with great enthusiasm representing their school. We would like to thank each swimmer who participated in this event. Thank you to all the teachers arranging the swimming gala, to make it possible and thank to the six sports leaders from Rutlish school who helped time each swimmer.

In total there were 24 races including finals and freestyle relays. The races consisted of Year 5&6 girls and boys Backstroke, Breaststroke and Front Crawl races as well as 4 final freestyle relays. Each child who took part was sensible and respectful to the Morden Leisure staff and safety rules.
