Another scorching Friday, on 23rd June, saw 15 teams take part in our Merton Yr 5/6 Borough Rounders Championships. Kindly hosted at Raynes Park High School’s Playing Fields on Westway Close, teams played round robins in four groups to determine their places for the finals and play offs.

All teams then played another match against the corresponding placing from another group, with the winners of the groups proceeding on to a semi final followed by the final and 3rd place match.

A huge congratulations to all teams and our top four. The standard was great with children working so well together in their teams, developing their knowledge of the rules and tactical play as the tournament went on.
Our REFSPECT winners, voted for by the schools, were St John Fisher, a very well deserved achievement!
