When signing up for this event, in the comments box, please indicate which session you would prefer to attend. Although we cannot guarantee your preference, we will do our best to accommodate this. You will be expected to arrive 15 minutes before your allocated session start time.
- This is an Inclusive Festival event.
- MSSP aim to accommodate at least 1 x KS2 team per Merton school for this event.

- If an event is full, teams will be placed on a waiting list and be notified of this.
- MSSP will contact schools should places become available in the build-up to events.

Squad Size
- Maximum of 10 players in a squad.
Eligibility
- Mixed event – no gender requirements
- Inclusion event – Pupils with SEND should be prioritised by schools when selecting a squad.
- Panathlon Challenge eligibility – any child on the SEN register (other than Emotional and Behavioural) includes Deaf and Autistic children.
- Specific SEND inclusivity details on how we approach each of our inclusive festivals and competitions can be found via our Inclusion page on this site.
- We endeavour to design our Multi-Skill Festivals to be accessible and enjoyable for SEND participants. Please let us know if you plan to bring children with either communication and interaction needs, cognition and learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health difficulties or sensory and physical needs. We will be mindful when shaping our festivals to amend activities to suit any participants with these needs and impairments.
Format
- There will be a carousel-based rotation of up to 12 multi-skill activity stations for participants to take part in through the session.
- This is a festival event. No scores will be recorded or placings awarded.
- The event is structured for children to experience playing with, alongside and against other schools.
- Schools will be allocated a starting station upon arrival.
Kit & Equipment
- All schools MUST provide their own First Aid kit along with a first aid qualified member of staff.
- This event will be played on hardcourt surface. Trainers are permitted. No studs required.
- Players of the same school should wear the same colour tops/bibs.
- No jewellery permitted.
- All children must wear appropriate footwear.
Staffing and Spectators
- Spectators will not be permitted entry to any school/private hire of sports facilities.
- Primary schools must inform parents in advance when inviting students to take part.
- All staff attending the event must have enhanced DBS clearance and have been fully vetted by the school.
Awards
- REFSPECT winners – Certificates
- Participation certificates will be presented to all participants.
- This is a non-medal event.
Results
- Results and event report will be available on the news webpage within 24 hours of the event ending.
