School Games Mark | Applications Open 29.04.26

7th April 2026

The School Games Mark aims to reward and recognise a school’s engagement (provision and uptake) in the School Games against a national benchmark. It also celebrates keeping young people active.

The award is centred around the principles of the School Games outcomes (Available to download HERE) and schools will need to demonstrate their engagement with their local School Games Organiser – for support with the award and for help accessing or resetting your school account ahead of the window, please contact Merton SGO, Nick Osborne – N.Osborne@harrismorden.org.uk

Applications will be reviewed and verified through Merton SSP with levels of Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum being awarded after the closing date.

The School Games Mark application for 2025/26 will open on Wednesday 29 April 2026, and will close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 31 July 2026. (Please note: schools will not be able to access the application after that point and will not be awarded. Don’t miss out!)

You can access your School Games profile via : https://www.yourschoolgames.com/

All-through schools (with both primary and secondary settings) can apply for the School Games Mark twice, once for each setting. One setting should complete the online application, while the other must be graded using an offline application. The offline application is only available to all-through schools and can be requested from the Regional Support team (please provide the school’s URN when requesting). Please note: the grade shown on the website and the offline grade are separate and cannot be transferred between school settings.
