Workshop Details
Our Autumn conference this year is located at the High Ashurst Outdoor Education Centre, near Box Hill, Dorking. This conference is vital for all PE Coordinators to attend in preparation for the year ahead. The day will include networking, cluster planning, updates around current local and national initiatives, as well as the opportunity to take part in some practical team building activities run by the expert delivery team at High Ashurst.
This year we would like to extend the invitation to our secondary schools and would welcome each school to send one member of the PE Team, this will be free of charge with an additional staff member at approx. £170. We hope this will provide a great opportunity for secondary schools to meet and get to know their local Primary school PE Leads and to consider how they can link up with activities and opportunities for the coming year. There will be a separate session for all the Secondary PE Leads where they can spend some time together, sharing good practise and arranging the fixtures for the coming year – so bring your school calendars! Lunch is also included.
Information:
- Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please inform us if you have any dietary needs or access requirements.
- The sessions will be active, please wear clothing and footwear suitable for physical activity. Please inform us if you are unable to participate or have any specific requirements which would support you throughout the day.
- Please bring a water bottle.
- Please be aware that attendance at this conference is vital as part of your school’s Sports Mark Award criteria
- The activities and conference will be held both indoors and out doors.
