We were (eventually) blessed with great weather for our Year 3/4 West Wimbledon Cluster Hockey Festival this morning.
7 schools made their way to Wimbledon High Sports Ground in Wimbledon for the event, which was split into 2 parts. The first hour was made up of skill games including Dribble & Shoot, Rob The Nest, Dribble Tag and Finders Keepers. These games allowed the children to practice their dribbling, passing and shooting skills, ready for 5 rounds of Hockey matches against other schools in the second hour.
Y6 leaders from Hollymount Primary did a great job of explaining the games, as well as motivating the children throughout.
Congratulations should go to Sacred Heart and Wimbledon High for being voted joint Refspect winners!
