The KS2 Morden Dodgeball Festival took place at Harris Academy Morden on Monday 6th November 2023 with 10 teams from 5 schools represented. 72 students from Yr 3, 4, 5 and 6 participated across the afternoon and were gratefully officiated by 6 pupils from Year 10 at the Academy’s Sports Leadership team.
The afternoon was divided into two age categories with 4 teams taking part in the Yr 3/4 group and 6 teams taking part in the Yr 5/6 group.
All the children took part with enthusiasm and passion across a warm up game of Gaunlet ball followed by 5 games of Dodgeball in a round robin format.
Well done and thank you to all teams for taking part as well as their supporting coaches and teachers for enabling them to access the opportunity. Thanks to the Harris Academy Morden staff and sports leaders for hosting and helping at the event.
