Whether you’re new to teaching hockey or have years of experience, this non-assessed workshop will level up your skills and ensure your lessons are fun and engaging for all students.
Workshop Objectives:
- Understand the benefits of teaching hockey, including its gender-neutral and accessible nature.
- Learn practical solutions for common challenges like equipment and safety.
- Receive a 6-week plan of fun, introductory games you can use in PE or extracurricular sessions.
- Discover how to adapt games to build broader skills such as teamwork and resilience.
- Connect games to specific curriculum aims, ensuring every activity has a clear purpose.
- Get tips on next steps and additional resources to continue your professional development.
Upon completion, you will receive a wide range of resources, including lesson plans and videos, to support your delivery of hockey in PE.
